Jim Kasim
Founder, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer
Jim Kasim is the founder of PARAMENA and serves as its Chairman of the Board of Directors and its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Kasim founded PARAMENA with the intent to improve the livelihood of MENA inhabitants that have been devastated by wars and related conflicts. Mr. Kasim leads all aspects of PARAMENA’s operations, including but not limited to the service delivery process to its clients and the maximization of positive social impact to the inhabitants of the MENA region.
For several decades, Mr. Kasim has specialized in providing advisory and capital markets solutions primarily for real estate and related clients. Mr. Kasim has been involved in the development of infrastructure through public-private partnerships and master planned communities. He has also been involved in approximately $4 billion of real estate capital markets transactions, including “IPO’s” and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Kasim has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, a Masters Degree in Real Estate Development from Georgetown University and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting, from California State University, Northridge. Mr. Kasim contributes a significant amount of his time and resources to the University of Southern California, including serving on the Executive Committee of the Lusk Center for Real Estate and as an Adjunct Professor in the Masters of Real Estate Development Program. Mr. Kasim is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant.
